Dr. Angeline Lim

Dr. Lim is known for her artistic eye combined with her commitment to honing her skills in the latest innovative plastic surgery techniques.

A Midwestern transplant to the Bay Area, Dr. Angeline Lim hails from Ohio, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron and received her medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (formerly the Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy) in Rootstown, OH. Selected to join Stanford University’s highly-regarded integrated plastic surgery program in Palo Alto, CA, Dr. Lim relocated to the west coast in 2002.

As a surgical resident at Stanford, Dr. Lim received world-class training in all aspects of plastic surgery alongside the classmate who would become her partner in Duet, Dr. Jennifer Weintraub. In between the long, demanding hours of residency training in the most innovative plastic surgery techniques and formulating her post-residency plans for the Duet practice with Dr. Weintraub, Dr. Lim also found the time to meet and marry her husband, also a surgeon, in 2005.

Board-certified in Plastic Surgery and an active member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Lim continues to hone her skills and and keep up with the latest products and methods in plastic surgery. She regularly contributes to publications, including peer-reviewed journals regarding topics that reflect her current practice interests, including anesthetic guidelines for cosmetic surgery procedures, body contouring in weight loss patients, and innovative ultrasound-assisted liposuction techniques. As a widely-respected expert in her field, she regularly serves as an invited speaker for prestigious medical conferences at the regional and national level. She also donates her invaluable skills and significant time to medical missions dedicated to repairing cleft lips and palates in children, including past trips to cities and villages in Guatemala, Mexico, and China.

When not spending time with her husband and children talking baseball, she loves to explore the beauty of the Bay Area while hiking or running. She is also a huge fan of cooking, eating, and the San Francisco Giants.
